The slats of your automatic roller shutter are exposed to the elements when the pool is covered. Leaves, pollen, dust and UV rays gradually degrade the PVC or polycarbonate. The protective screen forms an opaque barrier that :

Our screens are compatible with all automatic shutters fitted with fins, whatever the brand (Aquatop, Abriblue, DEL, Cover Design, etc.).
⚠️ Exception: Shutters with solar louvers (PVC or solar polycarbonate) are not compatible – risk of overheating.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions about pool cover protectors
Can the protective screen be used all year round?
Only the Slat Protect 4 Seasons model (white/grey aluminized) is designed for permanent use. Standard models should be removed at the first sign of sunshine (March-April).
Does the protective screen replace a winter cover?
No. The protective screen is fitted OVER the closed shutter curtain to protect it. It does not comply with standard NF P90-308. If you don’t have a shutter, opt for a filtering winter cover.
Is my shutter compatible?
Yes, if your shutter is equipped with fins (above-ground or submerged, all brands). Exception: shutters with solar blades are not compatible.
How long does a protective screen last?
With proper use and dry storage in summer, a screen will last 5 to 8 seasons. The manufacturer’s warranty is 2 years.
