The classic liner (0.75mm) is a prefabricated pocket suspended from the rails. Reinforced PVC (1.5mm) is custom-welded directly into the pool. It’s 2× thicker, more resistant to UV rays and chlorine, and lasts 15-25 years versus 10-12 years for a liner.
You bet! It’s the perfect opportunity to go from classic blue to modern gray, lagoon sand or mirror black. Each membrane shade produces a different water color.
For a standard pool (8×4m), allow 3 to 5 days’ work: – Day 1: Drainage and removal of old liner – Day 2: Substrate preparation, fungicide treatment – Day 3-4: Felt laying and welding of reinforced PVC – Day 5: Start-up and final inspection
Yes, all Renolit Alkorplan membranes are compatible with salt treatment systems. They are also resistant to heated water up to 32°C, ideal if you have a heat pump.
Yes, a complete draining is necessary. This is an opportunity to check the condition of the parts to be sealed (skimmers, nozzles, projectors) and replace them if necessary.
